Joint Board Day

The Deacons, Deaconess, and Trustees invite you to share with them in their Annual Joint Board Day on Sunday, November 14, 2010. The church choirs will render music and Pastor Weaver will preach at the 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship services. The special guest for the 3:30 p.m. service is the Reverend Keith Robeson and the congregation of the Southern Baptist Church of New York City. He will preach and his choirs will sing. Other special guest has been invited, as well as deacons, deaconess, and trustees from our sister churches. The public is welcomed. Dinner will be served after the 10:30 a.m. worship hour. Church's Fellowship For November

November 7, 2010 - Calvary Baptist Church - White Plains. Pastor Weaver will preach and the Sanctuary choir will sing. The Calvary Baptist Church is taking an historic step in ordaining her first female deacons at this service. The Joint Boards of Bethesda will accompany Pastor Weaver and the choir.

November 21, 2010 - Bethesda Baptist Church - Port Chester. Pastor Weaver and the church will journey to Port Chester to celebrate with Bethesda Baptist Church of Port Chester on their 93rd Church Anniversary. Bethesda Baptist Church of Port Chester is the daughter church of Bethesda Baptist Church of New Rochelle. Dr. J. B. Boddie was instrumental in planting the Bethesda Baptist Church in Port Chester 93 years ago. Join us as we celebrate this milestone in the live of Bethesda Baptist Church of Port Chester. Rev. Gerald Washington is the Pastor.

Board of Mission Year-End Calendar

The Thanksgiving Food Drive is currently underway until November 18, 2010. Anyone wishing to donate food to help families in need for this Thanksgiving Season can contact our church office. Last year Bethesda helped 48 families. We hope to double that amount this year because the need is greater. Call the church office at (914) 632-6713 or drop your donations off at the church 71 Lincoln Avenue New Rochelle, NY between the hours of 9:00 - 5:00 Tuesday through Friday. You can also bring your donations on Sunday during the worship hour. Families will be able to pick up their baskets on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Any family interested in receiving a Thanksgiving Basket from the church should submit their name and telephone number to the church at (914) 632-6713.

The Board of Mission is sponsoring their Annual Holiday Expo (formerly known as the Christmas Bazaar) on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bethesda's Family Life Center. All interested vendors should contact Sis. Phyllis Shelton at (914) 380-6969 to purchase space. You can also call the church office if you are unable to reach Sis. Shelton. Table space $30, payable by December 4, 2010. Make checks payable to the Bethesda Baptist Church of New Rochelle.
